Phi
Its story
Phi Leonis hovers 184 light-years away in the back of the Lion, not far from the famous Sickle asterism that traces the head of the king of beasts. It is a white A-type star whose cool, sharp light places it among the mid-magnitude beacons that populate the northern spring. Its quietness keeps it outside the classical tales, yet it takes silent part in the outline of one of the oldest constellations of the zodiac.
