Its story
Within the stellar current of Vela —once the stern of the great ship Argo— drifts this orange giant, a calm K-type whose light has been travelling 204 years. It set out near 1822, the year Champollion deciphered Egyptian hieroglyphs; the first modern readers of ancient Egypt and this photon set sail almost together.
