Its story
In the winding Hydra burns an orange giant 361 light-years away, suspended above the back of the celestial monster. Its light set out as the Netherlands was founding the Dutch East India Company and global trade was weaving its first network. A class-K sun, cooler than ours yet already swollen to several times its size, it offers a peaceful, almost melancholy glow in a region of the sky populated by faint stars.
