Its story
Orange and silent, this K-type giant rides through Vela, the southern remnant of the old Argo Navis. Its light crossed 698 years of void to reach this sky: it set out as Dante had just died in Ravenna and the Divine Comedy was beginning to circulate in handwritten copies through the Italian courts.
