What is Phi 1 Cancri

Phi1 Cancri burns some 373 light-years away inside Cancer, the discreet zodiacal figure stretched between Gemini and Leo. It is an orange K-type giant, already evolved, whose warm hue is the signature of a core that has begun to forge heavier elements after exhausting its original hydrogen supply.
