Its story
Unnamed within Camelopardalis, this A-type white star sent out its light 323 years ago. It set off as Europe signed the Peace of Ryswick that closed the Nine Years' War. Hotter and brighter than the Sun, its surface easily passes nine thousand degrees. It belongs to the lesser-watched northern constellations, where most stars carry no legend and quietly await their moment.
