Its story
In the small Canis Minor, the discreet faithful dog of the winter sky, shines a yellow-white sun, a nearby F-type star whose light travelled 127 years to us. When it set out, Edison's first electric bulbs were beginning to light the streets. Slightly hotter and more luminous than our Sun, it offers a clean and serene light, a modest companion in a constellation that holds only a handful of memorable stars.
