Its story

In the Keel, an orange K-class giant unfolds its serene ember across the southern sky. Its light crossed space for more than six hundred years, leaving when Europe was enduring the Black Death and reinventing its world. Cooler than the Sun yet far larger, it shines with that amber warmth of stars that have already lived most of their long lives.
