Eta
Its story
η Phoenicis is a white A-type star in the body of the Phoenix, the bird reborn from its own ashes in Egyptian and Greek tradition. It shines with the clean, crisp tone of youthful stars, ruling a region of the southern sky that only entered Western charts in the 16th century. Its light, traveller of several centuries, now reaches our telescopes from the plumage of the immortal bird.
