Cool red starIts story
A red giant lost in Monoceros, the quiet unicorn between Orion and Canis Major. Her light —reddish, cool, ancient— has been travelling for 571 years: it left when Constantinople had just fallen to the Ottomans. M-class stars like this one are the most common in the universe and, paradoxically, the least visible to the naked eye.
