Its story
In the modest Volans, the southern Flying Fish, glows an orange giant about 292 light-years away. Its light started out around 1734, when Linnaeus published Systema Naturae and began to file every living thing under a name. Bigger and cooler than the Sun, its amber tone calls to mind twilight atmospheres ruled by an ancient thermal hush.
