Highly luminous starIts story
Very far away in Cassiopeia, at around 326,200 light years, pulses a white class A star whose light set out when our species did not yet exist as we know it today. It is an extraordinarily luminous star, one of those beacons that pierce the galactic ocean from beyond the Milky Way and remind us that the deep sky also holds jewels far past our local neighbourhood.
