Its story
Another tenant of Orion: a yellow-white F-type star, slightly hotter than the Sun. Its light has been on its way some one hundred sixty-two years: it set out as Lincoln was delivering the Gettysburg Address and the American Civil War was bleeding the old South. A nearly recent light by cosmic standards, contemporary with the birth of the industrial world. It crosses the void with the clean, educated clarity of mid-temperature stars.
