What is Mu Aurigae

Mu Aurigae lies in the Charioteer, the constellation that hosted the first modern stellar X-ray detection thanks to Capella, its dominant light. It is a white A-type star at 153 light-years, lost amid the richest field of the northern winter sky, where the Milky Way crosses from Orion to Cassiopeia.
