Its story
In Cepheus, the legendary king and celestial monarch neighboring the north pole, shines this yellow G-type star, spectral sister to the Sun. Its light set out 328 years ago, around 1696, when Peter the Great was launching his «Grand Embassy» to Europe to modernize Russia. Its golden hue and discreet glow evoke a distant version of our own star, a solar echo suspended in the northern firmament among its constellation's more celebrated luminaries.
