Psi-1
Its story
Psi-1 Aquarii leads a small triangle of psi stars on the flank of the Water Bearer, the figure pouring his jar toward the southern fishes. An orange type K giant some 150 light-years away, it has left its youth behind to swell and redden. Its warm tone offers a counterpoint to the soft whites dominating the region, and together with its two psi companions it forms one of the most recognisable markers on the Water Bearer's torso.
