Yellow Sun-like in the bird of the Phoenix —a constellation named by Dutch navigators as a symbol of rebirth— this G-star sent its light out 344 years ago. It set out near 1682, the year Halley's comet last returned before it had a name and the sky still answered to no human prediction.
