Its story

Barely 60 light-years away in the constellation Vela, it pulses with the warm, golden tone of class F stars, slightly whiter than the Sun. The light arriving now set out when humanity had not yet set foot on the Moon, in the thick of the space race of the 1960s. It is a binary system: two suns bound by gravity, orbiting one another in silence, a dance that has been unfolding since long before writing was invented.
