Iot
Its story
Iota Sagittarii is an orange K0 giant that has exhausted its core hydrogen and swollen to about fifteen solar radii, radiating nearly ninety times the Sun's light. It shines at 182 light-years in one of the densest regions of the sky: Sagittarius points straight toward the centre of the Milky Way, so its warm light reaches us through a thick field of more distant siblings.
