Its story
1 Sagittae is a white A-type star 300 light-years away, in the tiny Arrow, one of the smallest and most ancient constellations of the sky, already catalogued by Ptolemy. Its surface near nine thousand degrees emits a clean light reminiscent of Vega, though far more distant. The Arrow fits almost entirely within a binocular field, suspended between Aquila and Cygnus in the heart of the Milky Way.
