Hot blue starIts story
In the small Shield burns a blue sun of type B, far hotter than our own and bound to a brief, violent life. Its light crossed 1400 years of darkness: it set out as Muhammad was receiving the first revelations of the Quran around the year 626. It reigns over a starfield clotted with clusters, in a stretch of the Milky Way where the very air seems to burn.
