Its story
An orange K-type giant in Sagittarius, the constellation pointing toward the very heart of the Milky Way. Its light set out around 1577, the year Tycho Brahe measured the orbit of the Great Comet and proved that celestial bodies travelled beyond the Moon. K-type stars spread a honey-coloured glow reminiscent of a prolonged sunset, visible only under clean skies far from any city.
