Its story
A yellow G-type star shines in Hercules at about 270 light-years. Its light set out around 1756, as Europe entered the Seven Years War and, in parallel, Enlightenment salons discussed the new mechanics of the cosmos inherited from Newton. Larger and brighter than the Sun, it already belongs to the lineage of aging giants, scattering a warm glow reminiscent of a suspended sunset.
