Its story
A yellow star resembling the Sun but nearly a thousand light-years away: if our own star sat at that distance, we would barely see it. This G-class giant resides in Libra, and its light left the star around 1028, when the Caliphate of Córdoba had just splintered into taifas. G-type, golden as a wax flame, magnitude 5.84: faint precisely because the Sun itself, at such a distance, would be invisible to the naked eye.
