Its story
Along the long curves of Hydra shines an orange giant some 547 light-years away. Its light set out around 1479, when Castile and Aragon were uniting under the Catholic Monarchs and Europe was approaching the end of the Middle Ages. Cooler than the Sun, its calm amber light recalls the slow embers of a forgotten fire in the night fields.
