Its story
Musca, the Fly, is a tiny young austral constellation, traced by Bayer in the 17th century. Within it dwells this K-class orange at three hundred and six light-years. Its light departed around 1719, well into Philip V's reign, as Spain was still digesting the Treaty of Utrecht and recomposing its Mediterranean policy. A humble star in a humble constellation, yet present every night in the deep southern sky.
