Nearby starIts story
In the long waters of Hydra shines a nearly neighbouring yellow sun, a G-type star just 49 light-years away —practically within cosmic arm's reach. Its light set out in the late 1970s, when the Pioneer 11 probe was making its first flyby of Jupiter. Similar in size to our own Sun, it might be called a discreet sister, close enough that its heartbeat feels almost familiar.
