Its story

Another yellow star shines in Columba, this time about six hundred and fifteen light years away. Its light set out when Portuguese navigators were still trying out routes into the South Atlantic, long before any modern optical instrument existed. Today it arrives, serene, to a sky now also watched from satellites in orbit.
