Its story

Its 304 light-years place the origin of its light squarely in the Age of Enlightenment: Paris was boiling with the encyclopedists while Lavoisier was naming oxygen. That same brightness has spent centuries crossing the void to arrive on time tonight, upon the canvas of the southern sky.
