Its story
In Perseus, the hero who bore Medusa’s head across the Greek sky, shines a white star whose light crossed two hundred and ninety-six years before arriving. It set out as Bach had just finished his cello suites in Köthen. Hotter and more luminous than the Sun, its surface near nine thousand degrees lends it a serene ivory tone, clean as freshly fallen snow. It is a discreet companion to the great winter figures of the north, awaiting its turn in silence.
