Its story
This white light set out from Camelopardalis when the Catholic Monarchs were sealing capitulations with Columbus and Gutenberg's press had just released its first Bibles. It is an A-type star, hot and bluish-white, far more luminous than the Sun. The celestial giraffe —its constellation— was drawn in the 17th century to fill a stretch of sky that seemed empty.
