Its story
In Camelopardalis, a discreet and scarcely mythological constellation of the far north, shines this orange K-type star, evolved and cooler than the Sun. Its light set out 625 years ago, around 1399, when Henry IV was crowned king of England and the Lancaster dynasty began. Its amber hue is lost in a region of the sky devoid of striking stars, but for that very reason it lends Camelopardalis one of its most constant warm reference points.
