Its story

At 2039 years away, in the northern giraffe of Camelopardalis, glows a luminous yellow-white star. Its light set out toward the century of the Severan Roman emperors, when Septimius Severus still rode the frontiers of empire. It has crossed two millennia of dust and silence to reach the human eye on precisely this night.
