Its story
In Vulpecula, the little Fox that Hevelius drew beside the Swan, shines a yellow-white F-class star whose light set out about 169 years ago, around the close of the European Renaissance. Slightly hotter than the Sun and noticeably more luminous, it radiates a pale, firm glow. It is one of those stars modest in brightness yet intimate in distance, seeming to speak quietly to the patient observer who picks them out among the more discreet constellations.
