Nu
Its story
Nu Cygni flies with the Swan along the northern Milky Way, in one of the richest summer regions for bright stars. It is a white A-type star at 374 light-years, its light reaching Earth after crossing fields of interstellar dust that barely redden it. It belongs to the stage the ancients saw as the spilled river of milk across the firmament.
